Holy Gap, Batman!!! 2 Weeks Post SARPE Already?

Wow, it's already been 2 weeks? Really? I remember when I thought the surgery was never going to come!!! So, as of right now, I am at 15 turns of the expander and I have 3 more to go. I gave my bite a good look and I feel like the orthodontist is going to decide to add a few more turns because it's not close to the normal bite yet. My teeth right now, are right on top of each other, so that means they'll need to go out another half of a tooth width. I'm really excited about the changes so far, and I'm even more excited about the final palate width. :D My next orthodontist appointment is on Monday!

Some things I am not so happy about: The shape of my upper lip is different, but I think it's mainly because of the remnants of swelling left over. I still have no feeling in my gums yet, which slightly scares me. Under my upper lip (where I had a little lip tie) feels like there is a little piece of food stuck up there, all the time. I am really hoping this feeling will go away, I think it may be a little bit of "stiff/tight" feeling left over. Oh, and there is one tiny piece of my lip tie left over that I need to get removed now. :)
